Consumer Participation in recycling event

Tokyo Metropolitan Government has demanded a “Participation of everyone” towards a recycling orientated society. Due to this we are planning to organize an [FUKU-FUKU PLA PLUS Event] in Odaiba city.
JEPLAN was chosen to participate in one of the six model projects “sustainable resource utilization”, promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
This project called “ Everyone is participating”, a model project in cooperation with Tokyo government and 6 other companies based in the Minto-ku area, has the aim for a more sophisticated recycling-oriented society.
On Sunday, December 26th (Saturday) and 27th (Sunday) related events of the model project will be held at the main venue of the Aqua City Odaiba 6F "Mamatoko" space.
We will make sure that the people can participate at our project and learn something about our vision of a circular economy.

We will announce our technical development on next generation Polyester recycling at the next Eco Product Expo 2015

During the period of Japan’s largest environmental event "Eco-Products 2015", from December 10th (Thursday) to 12th (Saturday) at Tokyo Big Sight, we will announce the development of our next generation Polyester Recycling Technology, at the FUKU-FUKU project x BTTF GO! Booth on December 11th.
By using this technology, it is possible to produce new Polyester fiber out of old unwanted Polyester clothing. In addition, the quality stays the same. Due to this we could reduce the amount of CO2 emissions by about 55%, compared to the existing technology of producing polyester fiber from PET bottles.

“Back to the Future Trilogy 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition” release memorial celebration

The legendary scene, where the DeLorean travels to October 21th, 2015 exactly to 16:29 is becoming reality, right next week!
We want to celebrate it by organizing an DeLorean running event in collaboration with NBC Universal Studios.
We will collect old unwanted clothing from customers to recycle it, turn it into bio ethanol to fuel the DeLorean. Like in the original movie, the car drive with help of trash, but only with old clothing this time.
We are planning to start the running event exactly at 16:29 when the DeLorean arrives to the year 2015 in the movie.
This running event takes place exactly 30 years after the first part of “BTTF” was published, and together with this event, the 4 sets of Blu-ray BOX / DVD-BOX "Back to the Future Trilogy 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition "with all three trilogies and bonus discs containing more than 2 hours of new footage will be out for sale.
Furthermore, there will be two celebrity guests at the Event too. First, we will have the famous Baseball Player Masa Yamamoto at the event and in addition, his good friend and Baseball player Takeshi Yamasaki will join him.
The two will take a drive in the DeLorean which was also involved in the movie filming.

30th anniversary of BACK TO THE FUTURE: let's run the DeLorean with recycled clothing
In order to celebrate 30 years of the legendary car that runs on fuel produced from recycled garbage, JEPLAN INC. Promotion project for Japanese recycling companies overseas

JEPLAN was selected to be part of the Japan promotion program for recycling industries overseas.
The ministry of environment in Japan is promoting the overseas development of the circular economy.
Our economy will be part of the Basic Research Department “Electricity waste recycling/social business of mobile phones”. Our recycling program in Bangladesh was selected as one of the 24 applications.

Information on PLA-PLUS Project 2016

By introducing the next PLA PLUS PROJECT, we want to get closer to our vision: the establishment of a recycling infrastructure and therefore a circular economy.
We will collect and recycle plastic products in collaboration with the ministry of environment, major companies and 130 shops (fast food shopping malls, department stores, home centers, educational institutions, etc.).
The plan is to set up an environmental circulation flow integrated into the daily lives, to make the recycling much more easier to participate for the consumer.
