  • January

    Established JEPLAN, INC.

  • April

    Started consulting business on uniform recycling.

  • June

    Started technological development related to cotton fiber recycling with Osaka University.

2008

  • June

    Succeeded in the development of recycling technology to produce bio-ethanol from cotton fibers through joint research with Osaka University.

  • December

    Established Cotton Recycling, Inc. in Shinagawa City, Tokyo for the purpose of recycling textiles

2009

  • January

    Won the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation sponsored Award, ECO JAPAN CUP 2008.

  • May

    Completed bench scale project to produce bio-ethanol from the cotton fiber and started operations.

  • July

    Established Mobile Recycling, Inc. in Shinagawa City, Tokyo for encouraging mobile phone recycling.

  • August

    Selected for textile recycling research project support from the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation.

2010

  • January

    Started E-waste such as a mobile phone recycling technology development in collaboration with NTT DoCoMo.

  • April

    Imabari, Ehime, a small commercial plant to produce bio-ethanol from the cotton fiber was completed and operation started.

  • May

    Imabari, Ehime, E-waste recycling (mobile phone) bench scale plant was completed and operation started.

  • June

    Receive the certification of the early bird projects in DMIC project (India Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) for fiber-recycling business and E-waste recycling business.

  • June

    Starting “FUKU-FUKU project” as the result of our research of textile recycling which we worked on as the contracted program from Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN.

  • November

    Adopted by NEDO (National Research and Development Institute of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) as the project for resource-saving and environment-friendly resource recycling.

2011

  • May

    Selected for textile collection project as the Strategic Foundational Technology Improvement Support Operation by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency.

  • June

    Transfer of company’s headquarters to Chiyoda City, Tokyo.

  • June

    Selected for feasibility studies for overseas promotion venous industry related to recycling business utilizing our E-waste recycling technology support for the Ministry of the Environment.

  • August

    Adopted by NEDO (National Research and Development Institute of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) as the technology which produces bio-ethanol from cotton fibers under new energy venture innovation business phase B.

  • November

    A small commercial plant to recycle the mobile phone was completed and operation started in Imabari, Ehime.

2012

  • February

    Selected for project of constructing efficient collection system and establishing recycling business for plastic goods support from the Ministry of the Environment. We implemented the 1st PLA-PLUS project.

  • March

    Enhanced the processing capability of a small commercial plant to produce bio-ethanol from cotton fibers.

  • August

    Adopted by NEDO (National Research and Development Institute of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) as the technology which produces bio-ethanol from cotton fibers under new energy venture innovation business phase C.

2013

  • February

    Selected for project of constructing efficient collection system and establishing recycling business for plastic goods support from the Ministry of the Environment. We implemented the 2nd PLA-PLUS project.

  • November

    Selected for project of constructing efficient collection system and establishing recycling business for plastic goods support from the Ministry of the Environment. We implemented the 3rd PLA-PLUS project.

2014

  • December

    Won the highest award at Tohmatsu Venture Support sponsored by Nomura Securities: “The year-end extra-large version of Morning pitch”.

2015

  • January

    Selected for project of constructing efficient collection system and establishing recycling business for plastic products support from the Ministry of the Environment. We implemented the 4th PLA-PLUS project.

  • January

    Merger of cotton Recycling Inc. and mobile recycling company.

  • April

    Won the Excellence Award in the 2nd BTMU business support program “Rise Up Festa” sponsored by The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.

  • June

    Adopted by the Ministry of the Environment as the company who provides E-waste recycling business in Bangladesh, subject to the Japan circulation industry overseas business promotion.

  • July

    Hosted by Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., LTD., Morning Pitch Expo at Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Summit 2015, Ranked 3rd in the “Top Venture Companies to Work For” survey among 3,000 employees at large enterprise.

  • September

    Adopted by Tokyo Metropolitan as the company whose model is based on sustainable use of resources.

  • October

    Organized project known as FUKU-FUKU x BTTF GO! Derorean Project on “Back to the Future 30th Anniversary” in collaboration with NBC Universal Entertainment Japan.

    Hosted by Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, won the “Challenging Spirit Division Grand Prize” at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 Japan.

2016

  • February

    Selected for project of constructing efficient collection system and establishing recycling business for plastic goods support from the Ministry of the Environment. We implemented the 5th PLA-PLUS project.

    Completion of construction Phase 1 Operations at Kitakyushu Hibikinada Plant

  • January

    Starting our own recycling project named “BRING™” by combining “FUKU-FUKU Project” and “PLA-PLUS Project”.

    Awarded the “Commissioner of Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Director-Gereral’s Award” at the JAPAN VENTURE AWARD 2017 hosted by Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN

  • November

    Completion of construction Phase 2 Operations at Kitakyushu Hibikinada Plant

2018

  • February

    Started our own retail brand called BRING™ with our very first product BRING™ T shirt.

  • February

    Performed seventh “BRING™ PLA-PLUS Project”, a test run to verify our chain operation of plastic recycling for the demonstration project by the Ministry of the Environment.

  • April

    Purchased all of PET Refine Technology Co., Ltd.’s stock and incorporated as a child company.

  • October

    Winner of the Japanese division of Startup World Cup and moved on to represent in the international division.

  • October

    Selected by METI to participate in the program named “Feasibility Study Project of Overseas Development for High-Quality Energy Infrastructure in FY2018” to ground the infrastructure of our polyester recycling in Lyon, France.

  • November

    Purchased all of NISCO’s stock and incorporated as a child company.

  • December

    Elected by METI for the program named the “HIYAKU Next Enterprise Program”, as one of the 19 startups to participate in the program of Silicone Valley Dispatch in 2019.

2019

  • March

    Acquired and incorporated our former group company, NISCO.

    Selected as a finalist in STARTUP WORLD CUP GRAND FINALE 2019 presented by Fenox Venture Capital (current Pegasus Tech Ventures).

    Received Letter of Intent indicating official support from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan and the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance, for our business plan of commercialization of Clothing Recycling in Lyon, based on an agreement between both governments.

    Cooperated in the first domestic event of domestically produced biojet fuel flights, “Let’s fly by recycling 100,000 clothes!” hosted by JAL.
