The JEPLAN Group has been promoting various initiatives as a recycling partner toward the realization of horizontal recycling promoted by Kao, and in 2021, as the first step, HELIX™, a recycled raw material, was adopted as a bottle container for the cosmetics brand TWANY, and since then, its adoption has expanded to other brands. Since then, the use of HELIX has expanded to other brands. Currently, HELIX is used in the containers of more than 50 product numbers of several cosmetics brands, including KANEBO and SOFINA iP.

HELIX, the recycled raw material used for cosmetics containers, is chemically recycled by utilizing the JEPLAN Group's proprietary PET chemical recycling technology, which breaks down used PET bottles and other materials to the molecular level and removes impurities. This recycled raw material has the same quality as petroleum-derived PET resin and is therefore used in a wide range of products such as PET bottles and cosmetic containers.

The JEPLAN Group will continue to promote collaboration with domestic and overseas partners to realize its mission of “We circulate our world, and the group as a whole will strive to drive the circular economy.
