ECOFF is a “sustainable participatory environmental project” sponsored by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores Co., Ltd., designed to reduce the burden on their shoppers associated with lowering their impact on the earth through environmentally conscious activities. As a result of BRING’s positive reception, we organized a take-back program in which customers bringing unneeded items were given coupons usable at Daimaru and Matsuzakaya department stores. This program was highly praised as an example of how activities for corporate social responsibility (CSR) can be performed in a way that increases sales.
